Transboundary waters are bodies of water shared by 2 or more countries.

Poor care of transboundary waters can cause problems when water is scarce.

Transboundary waters are the rivers, lakes and aquifers shared between countries.

Transboundary waters are needed by almost half of the world’s population. It is very important to take care of them.

Countries that share waters must work together for their proper management, administration and conservation.
